"Spring post" 1: Music As Literature

I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF " MUSIC AS LITERATURE" BUT THIS SONG IS DEEP AND THE WORDS AND WHAT HE MUST OF FELT IS UNEXPLAINABLE.

 1) I personally do consider music like literature because most of the songs say a story you just add beat to it. ALOT of people always listen to music just because the beat is good but that's not the only reason why you should just listen to the beat a bigger part of the song is the lyrics.

2)
literature

1.
writings in which expression and form, in connection with ideas of permanent and universal interest, are characteristic or essential features, as poetry, novels, history, biography, and essays.
2.
the entire body of writings of a specific language, period, people, etc.: the literature of England.
3.
the writings dealing with a particular subject: the literature of ornithology.
4.
the profession of a writer or author.
5.
literary work or production.
 (This is all from dictionary.com)

3)What is the difference between a novel, a poem, a rap, a song, an opera, and a symphony........

I think all of these things above have literature
A novel is a story....... a very long one " literature"
A poem is like a short story with words that rhyme and when you read it all together its a flow.
A rap, well most of the time is a story you just a beat and makes a song
song, opera, and a symphony all have some type of literature all just in different ways.

BIG QUESTION

What would we do if all of a sudden technology just disappeared?

The medium is the message

Reading The Legend of the Sleepy Hollow was very difficult because it has very big old fashioned vocabulary. The story is super long and boring. It didn't really seem to catch my eye.
When I watched a little of the video it was different because I can actually pay attention and picture it in my head. It was so easy to doze off in the story but the clip was suspenseful and it was actually a little freaky.
I rather watch the movie of something than read it. Since that story didn't catch my eye I was not intrested to read it.

A Dream Within A Dream by Edgar Allan Poe

To me this poem sounds like he is in love but he is too attached and maybe he has never fallen in love like that and thinks its all a dream. Maybe he thinks this is all fake and he is just dreaming that he is in love because everything seems soo perfect for the first time. Happy ending are almost in every movie and in real life happy ending are almost never. When someone is really happy you can tell that they are happy but in this poem he seems confused, lost and and practically giving up on something that seems fake to him just like a dream.
